2. Find a piece of land or an older house that could be remodeled.

3. Assemble your team.

4. Make some solid plans.
The importance of planning a design & build project with a scope and size of a new home or remodel cannot be understated.  Once you’ve assembled your team, you’re going to need to sit down with them and knock out some solid and realistic plans and a related timeline.  Make sure you plan for contingencies; budgets and timelines often need adjustments as you begin to execute your plans.

5. Get started.
You’ve designed your house or remodel, you’ve hired your team, obtained the right permits and secured your financing; now the only thing left to do is build your new house or start your new remodel.
