It was decided that using mostly reclaimed materials would create just the look and feel that our client was looking for.  Utilizing raised deck posts and poured footings we eliminated any substantial challenges with building the foundation.  From there we chose the best reclaimed material from North Portland’s ReBuilding Center.  Framed double doors, transome windows, a beautifully crafted rock garden and cedar framed skylights were highlights of this thoughtful gift.

VIEW RECENT PROJECTS

Some of our projects have a higher purpose.  This was one of them.  This beautiful art studio was dreamt up as a present from a Husband to his Wife, who was suffering from cancer.  The space was limited to approximately 200 sq feet, but the idea was to create a little oasis away from the world and that’s just what we set out to do.  Our aim was to maximize the small space we had to work with and to encapsulate the peace and tranquility of a remote art studio in a garden setting.
